Before You Begin
- This is very important. Make a full backup of the Nokia C12. Save all Nokia C12 files, photos, videos and all important numbers to another location. Because this rooting process will delete all Nokia C12 data
- Verify that your Nokia C12 model is The files being used are according to the software build version of the Nokia C12. Using files of another model can cause Nokia C12 software problems
- Download all the Nokia C12 files to root and unlock the bootloader. Also download and install ADB Fastboot Tool and Nokia C12 drivers.
Prerequisites
- Nokia C12 with at least 70% battery Charge
- Orignal Nokia C12 USB cable
- Computer with ADB and Fastboot Tool and Derivers
- Nokia C12 TWRP recovery
- Latest Magisk file
- Enable OEM and USB Debugging on Nokia C12
Steps to Unlock Bootloader Nokia C12
- At the end go to About in Nokia C12
Settings > About Phone
Click onBuild Number
three times. From which Developer Mode will be enabled in Nokia C12 settings - Now open Developer in Settings and turn on
OEM Unlock.
Similarly turn onUSB Debugging
- Connect the Nokia C12 computer with the USB data cable.
- Open the ADB Fastboot Tool on the computer and type the command:
adb reboot bootloader
- The Nokia C12 will restart and shift into Bootloader Mode, type:
fastboot oem unlock
- Press the volume up button of the Nokia C12 to confirm Bootloader Unlock.
- Now type command on AdB Fastboot Tool:
fastboot reboot
Steps to Install Nokia C12 TWRP
- Download the Nokia C12 model TWRP.img file.
- Place the Nokia C12 TWRP.img file in the main folder of ADB Fastboot Tool in the computer.
- ADB Tool gives this command to shift Nokia C12 to Bootloader Mode:
adb reboot bootloader
- Now type this command to install TWRP in Nokia C12.:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
- Type this command to shift the Nokia C12 into TWRP mode.:
fastboot reboot recovery
Steps to Root Nokia C12 with Magisk
- Download the latest zip file of Magisk and save it in the internal storage of the Nokia C12.
- Now in TWRP click
install
and open the Magisk zip file. - Swipe To Confirm Magisk Install in the the bottom side
- Magisk installation will start. Now reboot the Nokia C12
Verify Nokia C12 Root
After doing all the process mentioned above, install the Magisk Manager APK file in the Nokia C12. And verify that the Nokia C12 has been rooted.
